| Carlanthano Carlanthano is a jukebox for Win9x/NT. It creates a playlist of multimedia files and can be left to play them in the taskbar while you work. Carlanthano has all the playmodes you are used to in your real life HiFi systems. It has many customizable features and management tools for your playlists. Carlanthano uses the same MCI drivers that media player uses, and will help you make the most out of your multimedia collections. Carlanthano is designed to play like a HiFi. It can play files in modes such as Normal, Shuffle, Repeat 1, and Repeat All. You have all the normal functions like displaying the elapsed or remaining time, skipping to the last or next file, or skipping to a certain position in a file. In shuffle mode, Carlanthano keeps a history of played files so that no file will repeat before all the files are played. You can store extra information about your files, such as the Artist and Album name. Carlanthano can try to guess these for you. You can also specify the location of a lyrics file, which can be automatically displayed when a file plays. The playlist can be sorted by these settings, and you can also search for files in the playlist by specifying some or all of this information. Carlanthano also has album management tools. Some of the tools include removing duplicate listings of the same file, or removing files that no longer exist on your hard drive.
