Discover
Discover is a utility that corrects a design flaw in the Windows 95 (and NT 4.0) interface. When using the taskbar with the autohide turned off and always on top turned on, new windows can be obscured by the taskbar. This is particularly troubling when the taskbar is aligned at the top of the desktop. The title bar and the menu can sometimes be obscured. Discover.exe corrects this problem by moving the active window into the working area. If a window is too large to fit in the area, Discover will attempt to shrink the window to size. Discover can be set to run automatically (on a timer) or by clicking it when the action is desired. (v1.0, 04/03/99, 10KB, FREE )
